ON BEING CALLED A 'RACIST'

I am born in the Visayas in the Philippines. Twenty six years ago, whil making preparation to find my older brother and sister in Luzon area. An American told me, that I am a turtle. Ths man convinced me that I am a turtle, telling his friends that I am a turtle and I don't know about it. I felt offended calling me a turtle especially telling his friends and co-worker about it repeatedly. I am brought up that when a person calls you by a certain animal it means you are not a civilize person. I was brought up in the area in the Visayas where the city of gentle people resides. This incident bothered me since then why they call me a turtle an animal, with no idea what he was talking about, even in his own explanation why he said I am. I refused to be called a turtle, because I am human not an animal nor an uncivilized person. I never wanted to come here in the U.S. My sister dream about it, but I never did. I got married to an American citizen before coming in The U.S., even my marriage I was reluctant to come in the U.S. because what I foresee coming in the U.S. was a mesirable Life, but I have a situation, that I felt I have no choice, but to do. I cried during the wedding seeing troubles ahead of me. The man I was married Wonders why? I didn't answer. Somebody answers it for me, saying I was just too Happy that's why I cried. Not knowing I see difficulties and hardships in life being here In the U.S. All my prediction Happens to me, but I have faith in God that He will be there For Me no matter what Happens, and He is always there help go through to it. Miracles happens in my life, and I say that I am A living proof that Their Is God and their is Hope When you believe in Him. I grow up with why and why me questions and all these questions is answered recently in God's own way of providing it to me. My question today is can I vote. I have registered myself through Vesid in October 6 of this year. I havent recieved any response from it. Where do I stand? Can I vote or not? What should I do? today is the election Day. Tell Me what should I do? I give you two hours to respond.

Two hours to respond or what? You'll blow up my blog?

You cannot vote unless you are a citizen of the United States. That is, unless some Democratic party canvasser finds you and tells you to vote under another name - a name they used when submitting a fraudulent registration form.

Oh - I forgot. Only Republicans commit voter fraud. Sorry.

As for the rest, my serious advice to you is to be happy. Leave your husband and go back to the Philipines if you're so miserable here. We will have plenty of miserable people in the US already for the next 4 years so we don't need anymore thank you.
